The Budget screen
Your month coins and year coins on one screen, with everything you've spent underneath them.
The coins glyph in the tray opens your Budget screen. Coins fill most of it, and a peek card rests along the bottom.
Your month coins come first: the everyday categories like groceries, gas and restaurants, which start fresh on the first of each month. Keep scrolling past the year heading and your year coins are below it, on the same continuous scroll rather than behind a separate tab.
Year coins are for the things that don't behave monthly even though they happen every year, like a vacation fund or an annual subscription. Their budget covers the whole year and fills a little each day, so one large purchase has months to absorb rather than wrecking a single month.
The peek card along the bottom holds what you've actually spent. Tap the bar at its top, or drag the card upward, to open the full list; drag it back down to tuck it away. Once it's open there's a search field, and it looks across everything you've ever logged, not just the month you're looking at, so it's the fastest way to find a transaction by payee, caption, note or amount.
Two pills sit above that list, Personal and Business, switching which kind of spending you're seeing. Business is tracked month by month, so that pill appears with your month coins and not your year ones.
A category lives in one place or the other, never both.
