Your photo gallery
Every picture you have ever attached, gathered by month and year.
The Journal shows you photos a day at a time. The Gallery shows you all of them at once, so you can look back across a season or a year instead of scrolling day by day.
Open the More menu from the tray and tap Gallery. Your recent months come first, each one a block of pictures, and earlier months fold into rows below. Tap a month to open it, tap again to close it. Older years group the same way.
Tap any photo to open it full screen, then swipe sideways to move through the rest of that month. Pinch to zoom, and use the buttons to save it to your phone or share it. A caption you wrote appears underneath, and the date and what you spent sit above it, so a picture stays attached to its moment rather than floating free.
Photos arrive here from everywhere you can add one: receipts and memories on a transaction, pictures you add to a day, and the ones you mark during a weekly review or a monthly closeout. They all end up in the same gallery.
Deleting a photo here removes it from wherever it was attached, and that cannot be undone. If you want the picture gone from Carlo but kept on your phone, save it first.
Pictures are encrypted before they are uploaded, which means they are decrypted on your phone as you scroll. The first time through a month can take a moment, especially on a slower connection, and after that they open instantly.
A new account starts with a handful of example photos so the gallery is not empty while you are finding your way around. They clear when you make Carlo yours.
