Add a transaction by voice

1. Tap ＋ in the tray and choose 🎙️ Speak. Carlo starts listening, and the button becomes a red Stop with a running timer so you always know it's recording.
2. Say what you spent — the amount and where, like "twelve fifty at Chipotle." A category helps but isn't needed, and saying "business expense" (or "for work", "reimbursable") files it under Business automatically.
3. Anything extra you say lands in the Caption on its own — who you were with, why, a passing thought. "Twelve fifty at Chipotle, it was the team lunch" puts "it was the team lunch" in the Caption. Start with "note that…" if you want to be deliberate about it.
4. Tap the red Stop when you're done, or just stop talking — Carlo stops on its own after about 20 seconds.
5. The camera opens while Carlo works out what you said, so you can shoot while it reads. Take a photo, pick from your library, or wait — nothing here is required. Up to 13 per transaction, each tagged Memory or Receipt (tap to switch), and starring one makes it the photo that represents the transaction everywhere else.
6. When Carlo finishes, a button appears: Skip → if you added no photo, Continue → if you did. Tap it to review.
7. The review screen shows what Carlo heard. Tap any field — amount, payee, category, subcategory, or Caption — to correct it. Anything Carlo couldn't catch reads Tap to set in red.
8. Say a payee Carlo already knows and it resolves quietly. Say something ambiguous and a few chips appear under the Payee row — tap the right one, and Carlo remembers the connection so it resolves on its own next time. Say no payee at all and Carlo fills in the one you use most for that subcategory, marked suggested; tap the ✕ to clear it.
9. Tap Log it to save. It needs an amount, a category, and a subcategory; if one is missing, the dimmed button outlines it in red and takes you there.

The coin for that category updates immediately. To back out at any point, say "Nevermind" while recording, tap ✕ on the camera, or tap Cancel on the review screen.
