Add a bill
Set up a recurring payment so Carlo tracks it every month or every year.
Open Bills from the tray and tap Add Bill at the bottom of the list. The screen is titled New Bill.
Give it a name, then pick a group from the pills, tapping + New if you want a group that does not exist yet. You can add a payee too, the business or person you actually pay, though that one is optional.
Enter the amount and choose Monthly or Yearly. Set the month it starts, and for a monthly bill tap the day it falls due. A color is chosen for you if you would rather not.
Below that are three switches worth knowing about. Auto-pay for anything that charges itself. Giving if this bill should count toward your giving totals, which is how a monthly pledge or tithe gets tracked without you entering it by hand. And Rent or mortgage, which breaks your housing payment out as its own line in your income breakdown.
Add a note if you want one, then tap Add Bill. Name, amount, group and starting month are all required, so the button stays dim until those are filled in. Carlo then generates the next several months of payments, so each one is waiting when it comes due.
One thing worth doing deliberately: if you set the starting month earlier than this one, Carlo fills in the history. It records a paid payment for every month from then until now and tells you how many it marked paid, which is how you enter a bill you have already been paying for a while. You will need at least one payment method for those to post to.
