Restore an archived item

Open the More menu from the tray, tap Settings, then Data & Records. Tap Archived Items to expand it.

Inside are five groups: Month Coins, Year Coins, Bills, Goals and Accounts. Spending categories are split between the first two depending on whether they were monthly or annual, and payment methods are filed under Accounts. Find what you want and tap Restore.

It returns to its active list with all of its history intact. A restored bill starts generating occurrences again from the current month forward, and a restored goal resumes pace tracking from the current month.

Archiving is deliberately reversible, which is the whole reason it exists: an archived item is hidden from your active screens but nothing about it is lost until you delete it permanently.

If you do want it gone for good, tap the item and choose Delete instead. Carlo warns you first if transactions are linked to it, because this removes the item and those transactions and cannot be undone. In a shared space, coins and bills cannot be permanently deleted at all, since they belong to everyone; they stay archived until someone restores them.
