Invite someone to a shared space
Bring someone in with a one-time code. Any member can invite, any member can approve, one person at a time.
Open the space and tap Create invite code. The code is single-use and good for 24 hours. Then tap Share invite to send it however you like, or Copy code to paste it yourself. If you change your mind, Revoke invite cancels it rather than making you wait for it to lapse. If a code lapses, gets used, or you revoke it, just make another.
On their end they open CoCarlo, tap Join with a code, and enter it. Their screen then reads Waiting to be approved until someone lets them in, and they can Cancel request from there if they change their mind.
Their request shows up under Join requests, and any member can approve or decline it. That is worth knowing because neither inviting nor approving is limited to whoever created the space, so in a household either person can handle it.
It is deliberately one person at a time: one open code, or one pending request, never both and never several. Making a new code replaces an open one, and while a request is waiting you need to approve or decline it before inviting anyone else.
Once approved they appear under In this space straight away, and the space shows up for them the next time they sign in. The member list updates live as people come and go.
A space holds up to 8 members. When it is full the invite option is replaced by "This shared space is full", and someone would have to leave to free a spot.
