How the Business section works
Why business spending sits apart from your personal budget, and where to find it.
Business spending is kept separate on purpose. A business expense never counts against your monthly coins, your daily allowance, or your spending charts, so a large equipment purchase cannot make your personal month look like a disaster. It is money that passes through your life without being part of your household budget.
It still shows up in your Journal on the day it happened. Open that day and its transactions sit in labeled groups, with your business spending under its own Business heading at the bottom. The day's total above the list counts only what came out of your personal budget, so the figure and the rows beneath it agree. Part of your record, just not part of your budget.
To see what you have logged, open the peek on your Budget screen and tap the Business pill next to Personal. That switches the list to your business expenses, with your expense types as filter pills underneath so you can narrow it to one. Tap any expense to open it, edit it, add a note or attach a receipt. Business is tracked month by month, so the pill appears with your month coins and not your year ones.
To manage the section itself, open More and tap Business. That is where your expense types live, the categories your business spending gets filed under, and where you export a tax year as a spreadsheet to hand to whoever does your taxes.
