Leave a shared space
You can step out anytime. Your access ends; the entries you added stay so the history stays accurate.
Open the More menu from the tray, tap CoCarlo, then tap Manage space under the space you want to leave. Scroll to the bottom, tap Leave this space, and confirm.
The distinction that matters: leaving removes your access, not the space's history. It deletes nothing for the people still in it. Your entries stay where they are, still attributed to you but marked as a former member, so everyone else's balances and totals remain accurate.
From your side the space disappears. You can no longer open it, view it, edit it, export it, or add to it, and there is no way back on your own. Someone still in the space would have to invite you again with a new code, and redeeming it puts you back with your past entries still attributed to you.
If you are the last member you cannot leave, because that would abandon the space with nobody in it. The button becomes Delete this space instead, which permanently removes it and everything inside. That cannot be undone, so Carlo asks you to confirm.
Your personal Carlo is untouched either way. And the space's data stays encrypted throughout: leaving removes your access keys from Carlo's servers rather than decrypting or moving anything.
Deleting your Carlo account uses this same step. If you belong to any shared spaces, Carlo walks you through leaving each one first, or deleting it if you are the last member, before it finishes closing your account.
