Answer the daily question

One optional question about money each day, under today's card in the Journal. Your answers are private to you.

Each day the Journal offers one question about your relationship with money, in a card labeled A question for today, just below today's day card. It is an invitation, not a task: answer it, skip it, or ignore it, and nothing keeps score.

Tap the card to write. The page opens with the question at the top and the keyboard ready. Write as much or as little as you like, then tap Done. What you type is kept on this phone as you go, so you can leave halfway and pick it up later. Delete draft at the bottom throws an unfinished answer away.

Not in the mood for that one? Before you start writing, tap Not feeling this one? under the question for a different one. You can do it as often as you like; once you have seen everything on offer that day, it cycles back through them. Simply ignoring the question is fine too.

Once you have answered, the card stays for the rest of the day with a small check. Tap it to read your answer, and tap Edit to change it.

You get the same question on all of your devices, and your answer shows up on the others the next time you open Carlo there. Some questions belong to a time of year and only appear then. A question you skipped can come back after a couple of months, and one you answered comes back after about a year, which is a chance to see how your thinking has moved.

Your answers are yours alone. They are encrypted on your phone before they are saved, so Carlo cannot read them, and they stay private even inside a shared space: there the card says Only you can see this, and the people you share with never see your questions or answers. They are not used by Ask Carlo or any AI.
